Morphological Description

Habit:
An erect, annual creeping herb that grows up to 3 meters in height. The plant often roots at nodes.

Therapeutic Uses

  • Naktandhya: Leaf and fruit juice taken in the morning; eye drops also beneficial

  • Shvitra: Leaves fried in oil and consumed with milk

  • Yakruta Vikaras (Liver disorders): Bhringraj juice is beneficial
